I loved the receptionists. both of them where friendly and knowledgeable. The kitchen woman could not understand English well. However she was helpfull when she understood.
The breakfast was a bit dull. It was however nice and clean.
The outside looked promising. The security guard was friendly.
When my husband and I got there in the evening there was a lady at the reception area who works at the hotel with a blanket. The rooms are not sound proof. You can hearcthecdoors when someone closes a door. The doors were not the usual heavy hotel doors. The curtains are too thin and light comes streaming through. We did not have a great stay at all.
Good ServIce , Excellent Rooms - Clean , Up to date .
Kettle , Cups & Saucers in room but no tea or coffee available . Breakfast - Lacks variety , could be better
Friendly staff, security and cleaness
Should provide coffe sugar and tea in the rooms also not only downstairs, could provide more TV options?
accommodation was excellent , staff were very friendly and polite ,we are vegetarian and they cooked special meal for us and food was excellent . I will definitely recommend others . This hotel is three stars , but I would say it is like a five stars .
Rooms were neat, facilities were cool and my kids enjoyed stayed there as well. Friendly ladies in the Breakfast nook
Upstairs rooms need bars to make them child friendly
Cleanliness, very neat, friendly staff, simple but sumptuous breakfast.
Insufficient pillows...one small pillow for each guest; non provision of coffees and teas in da rooms in spite the presence of kettle and cups. tv guide booklet for program selection is not available. our room had a faulty closet door. additional blankets not kept in the room.
The Staff... Shivaani in particular made stay and Requirements(special Dietary Requirement) a Great Experience.
The Rooms are not Really Sound Proof in any way.. Noises and Movements of other Guests Lead to a Restless Sleeping pattern.
The staff were incredibly friendly and always smiling or laughing. The room was always spotless and smelling fresh. The breakfast was sufficient and freshly prepared.
Unfortunetly the only down fall was that there was alot of noise. I would suggest putting carpeting down the passages so that there is no echoing when people are walking to their rooms. And maybe a few scatter rugs in the rooms just to make it more homely.
I didn't stay much @ the hotel but the room was actually more than I was expecting. It was awesome, great view of the city and good value for money. I will definitely book there again and this time spend more time there and explore the hotel and surrounding areas.
Friendly and helpful staff, excellent service, lovely view of the city and stadium, quality bed linen and towels
Spartan breakfast, no proper coffee in the room, had to ask for extra pillows, rooms not soundproof from inside: noisy neighbours and bright passage lights kept us awake
Intimate place, good finishes with friendly staff. The pictures tell the true story (which is rare). Well worth to be revisited.
There is not much to be criticised. Personally, I didn't quite like the pillows, but that is such a minor issue that I can live with.
The friendly staff. Always had a smile. They went the extra mile when they needed to.
The rooms are slightly small & no DSTV sport channel to watch.
The location of the hotel is very good, I loved the atmosphere.
1- floors were cold- supply rugs on the floor. 2- an extra blanket would suffice as well espcially during winter. 3- the pillows as well werent too comfortable. 4- breakfast was good just a little cold.
The hotel is close to the convention centre and the bathrooms of the hotel are very nice. Standing shower with a glass door.
The stay was not comfortable at all and although the hotel is new, it is already starting to fall apart. Firstly, my room's aircon was not working properly and I had to be moved which was painful as I had just unpacked. My colleague found her bathroom bin filled with used sanitary pads - they clearly don't clean the rooms properly. The bed is incredibly uncomfortable and the sheets are hard and scratchy. The entire hotel is tiled and you can hear everything so sleeping was not easy. The only reason I booked this hotel was because there was a big conference happening in Durban, and hotels were very expensive.
